alumni association club for the University of Florida serves as a home base
for Gator fans in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area, including LA,
Orange, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernadino counties. Please see the

Gators vs Miami (of Ohio)
After a long, hot summer, after all
the drama, after months without football, the wait is over! The
2010 Football Season kicks off this Saturday! The Gators will open
this weekend facing the Redhawks from Miami of Ohio. It's time to
get out your Orange and Blue and get ready to scream yourselves
silly for the Gators! Kick off is 9:00 A.M., and we will be
enjoying the first breakfast with the Gators this season. We now
have six viewing locations, including Tony P's (Marina Del Rey),
Hooters of Burbank, Hooters of Costa Mesa, Hooters of Ontario
Mills, Big Wangs (Hollywood), and for you Gators in Ventura
County, our brand new viewing location in Westlake Village, Fox
Sports Grill!

Gator Kickoff Socials
To get ready for
football season, the Gator Club would like to invite you to our LA
Kickoff Social! The event will
take place at Barney’s Beanery in West Hollywood (8447 Santa
Monica Blvd. West Hollywood, CA) on August 31st at 7:00 PM. The
Gator Club will be providing some appetizers. Kick back, relax,
and enjoy some time with your fellow Gators! We will be playing
some Gator Trivia with some fantastic prizes.

 Heal
the Bay
Every year, alumni from the University of Florida give back to their
communities by participating in International Gator Day. On Saturday, May
15th, we will pair up with Heal the Bay to clean up Torrance Beach. This
will be a great way to support the local community, and this year we will
be joining a very large clean up in Torrance with many members of other
organizations as well.
Please arrive at 9:45 AM at Torrance State Beach at the Play Area, 389
Paseo De La Playa, Torrance, CA 90277. We will be cleaning until 12:00 PM.
Because all work and no play equal no fun, we will be going out to lunch
at a local restaurant afterwards, location TBD. There will also be coffee,
donuts, and water first thing in the morning.
Please bring sunscreen, a towel, and change for the parking meters.
