Volunteer Day Beach Cleanup | Gators in Pasadena

For National Gator Day on May 18th, we started out around 10am to clean up Hermosa Beach for the Heal the Bay foundation. About 25 of us scoured the beach and collected tons of garbage for our volunteer event. Our contribution mattered so much that a couple locals and lifeguards in the area went out of their way to thank some of us during our clean-up! Afterwards, we then proceeded to a Gator member's house on the beach and had a little Gator get together. As a reward for all the hard work that morning, the Gator Club had Burritos Brothers shipped in for the party! There was about 60 pounds of burritos to be had by all while we watched a taping of last month's Orange and Blue game and read the Alligator! It definitely was Gainesville West for the day and was a great success! Many thanks for those of you who helped out that day!
